Preliminary Draft of GSP for Public Review
The preliminary draft of the Tulare Lake Subbasin's Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP) is now available for public review. At the conclusion of the 90-day public review period, a public hearing on the draft Tulare Lake Subbasin Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP) will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, December 2, 2019 in the Admin Room adjacent to the Kings County Board of Supervisors Chambers, located at 1400 W. Lacey Blvd. in Hanford, CA.
The Mid-Kings River GSA will consider all written comments received before and up through the public hearing from beneficial users of groundwater or local stakeholders. Written comments may be submitted by contacting the Mid-Kings River GSA or by providing oral and/or written comments at the public hearing.
The Mid-Kings River Groundwater Sustainability Agency (GSA) is joint powers authority, comprised of three local public agencies (Kings County Water District, City of Hanford and County of Kings). The Mid-Kings River GSA is responsible for the implementation of California's Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA) compliance within the GSA's boundary of the Tulare Lake Subbasin.

The Mid-Kings River GSA Board of Directors meet on the second Tuesday of every month at 1 p.m. at the Kings County Water District, located at 200 Campus Drive in Hanford, unless otherwise posted. Board agendas are posted on the Boards & Committees page.
